Follow-up analysis of the three clusters in ANOLD 1 & 2 patients
WJ Kim presented a follow-up analysis on the patients of the three clustering group. Among the three groups of cluster, the cluster with worse lung function and more symptoms showed rapid worsening in SGRQ score and more exacerbation during the follow-up
Follow-up data
Follow-up data are essential in the 2nd ANOLD paper. More follow-up of the patients should be encouraged.
GOLD A, B, C, D classification
More analysis of the GOLD A, B, C, D classification was suggested for the three clusters. The analysis would reveal the characteristics of the three clusters.
Analysis of inhaler use
Pf. Lan thankfully proposed an additional analysis of ICS use for the patients of ANOLD COPD cohort, especially GOLD B patients. For the analysis of ICS use, ACOS and eosinophilia may be considered as well. LABA alone or the combination of LABA and LAMA should also be analyzed.
